Murang'a National Tournament - 1st ECASA National Qualifier.
Venue: National Library Hall, Murang'a.
Murang'a is about 100 km from Nairobi, 60 km from Nyeri and 70 km from Embu. There are direct matatus from OTC Nairobi. We also encourage scrabblers to carpool.
Registration: Ksh. 500/- per participant and Ksh. 250/- for students, payable on or before Friday 7th Oct. 2011 to Joseph Karinga through Mpesa : 0722631855.
Registration will close at 10pm.
Late registration (On Saturday Oct. 8th 2011 8.30am): Ksh. 700/- per participant.
Starting time: 9.00 am Sat. Oct. 8th 2011 (This is the actual time that the games will start). Clocks will be started then.
The draw will be out by 8.00 am. WESPA rules are very clear on how to deal with lateness.
Rules: Current WESPA rules will apply.
Registering for the tournament amounts to endorsement and adherance to WESPA regulations.
Equipment: Scrabble boards and tracking sheets will NOT be provided. Contestant score cards and score sheets will be provided
Meals: Quality meals will be available at the venue we have contracted the best caterers in town and have negotiated very good rates. Kindly make orders in advance.
